7126 East McKellips Road, Suite 102
Mesa, Arizona 85207

The Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute is owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). Mesa Arizona provides religious instruction to both LDS church members and other individuals who are interested in engaging in an in-depth study of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute was founded in 2001, and the institute moved into its own facility the following year. There are currently more than 600 students enrolled at the school, many of whom also attend classes at nearby Mesa Community College Red Mountain (which is not affiliated with the Mesa Red Mountain Institute). The institute anticipates its enrollment growing to as many as 1,500 students within a decade.

The goal of Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute is to teach young people about the gospel of Jesus Christ, prepare them for service in the LDS church, and provide a positive social environment in which students can get to know each other. Single adults between the ages of 18 and 30 are invited to attend classes at the institute no matter what their religious affiliation. However, the institute recommends that non-LDS students meet with a staff member to determine which classes will best meet their needs. Married college students are also welcome at Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute.

All classes at the institute can be taken free of charge. Students interested in enrolling are invited to stop by the campus at any time, where a staff member will provide more information. In addition, many classes at Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute can be taken for credit that can later be transferred to Brigham Young University campuses in Utah, Idaho and Hawaii. The Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute is also home to several student organizations, including the Institute of Religion Student Council (ISRC), the Latter-day Saint Student Association (LDSSA), the Institute Men's Association (IMA) and the Institution Women's Association (IWA). The IMA and IWA focus on values such as service, spirituality and scholarship. The Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Institute is part of a larger network of LDS institutes, which have about 150,000 students in more than 500 locations.
