Miami University of Ohio is located in Oxford, Ohio, 35 miles from Cincinnati. Established in 1809, the university was named after the Miami Indian Tribe that inhabited the area now known as the Miami Valley Region of Ohio. Miami University focuses on teaching undergraduates through a liberal arts core to complement studies in student's respective majors.

Miami University of Ohio offers bachelor's degrees in more than 100 areas of study, master's degrees in more than 50 areas of study, doctoral degrees, and several Associate Degrees are available through its regional campuses. Miami has regional campuses in Hamilton and Middleton, Ohio with a European Center in Luxembourg.
