Michael's School of Hair Design & Esthetics, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, trains students in Cosmetology, skin Academy, and nail academy. Students enrolled full-time in day school will take approximately 11 months to complete the cosmetology course. It will take night school students about 22 months. The esthetics program takes approximately six months to finish.

Students at Michael's School of Hair Design & Esthetics take haircutting, hair color, and texture courses, as well as other courses in nails, makeup, facials, and professional development. Students spend the first six weeks in a core program where they practice on mannequin heads. This is followed by the adaptive course where students work on real clients and attend class every day.

Michael's School of Hair Design & Esthetics graduates are prepared to work as salon assistants, stylists, salon owners, educators, session artists, school owners, platform artists, or in a variety of other positions.
