Michigan bodywork & Fitness Academy is a vocational school that offers a comprehensive education in personal fitness training and/or sports massage.

Michigan's Sports Massage certificate program offers the student comprehensive training and theory, including hands-on practice. MBFA offers a combination of specific hands-on instruction, interactive lecture, and guided practical experience.

MBFA personal training programs teach students practical day-to-day skills as well as the theoretical knowledge necessary to be a personal trainer. In the Michigan Bodywork & Fitness Academy program, students learn to perform a variety of exercise-related assessments and tests, design safe and effective exercise programs, implement safe weight loss and weight gain programs and be proficient in a variety of business-related skills for work in a fitness center, corporate gym or their own personal training business.
