Michigan college of Beauty offers courses in the Cosmetology field and beauty industry for individuals out of its location in Monroe, Michigan. They offer five programs of study: cosmetology, aesthetics, manicuring, manicurist-esthetician, and beauty instructor training.

The cosmetology program combines 415 classroom lecture hours with 1085 hours of laboratory work and clinic practice. Students are taught employability skills under the direct supervision of expert instructors and prepared for the State Licensing exam. The aesthetics program consists of 400 clock hours in the study of skin and analysis of skin types and conditions, and methods for skin care maintenance and correction. The manicuring program offers 400 clock hours of theoretical concepts of nail care as well as practical clinical training. Students are prepared for the state licensing exam, and taught employability skills. The manicurist-esthetician specialist course lasts 900 clock hours and combines all the skills taught in the 400-clock hour manicuring Program and the 400 clock hour aesthetics programs. The Instructor Training program is designed for licensed cosmetologists to teach the basic cosmetology curriculum in a licensed school. Students learn theoretical concepts and must be able to demonstrate practical clinical procedures. Students complete 130 hours of practice teaching in a classroom, learn employability skills and review the cosmetology curriculum in order to pass the state licensing exam for cosmetology instructors.

Financial aid is available for students who qualify. The school is affiliated with the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, the American Association of Cosmetology schools, and Pivot Point artistic community.
