Operating from two locations in Belleville and Jersey City, New Jersey, Micro Tech Training Centers provide professional criminal justice and medical career training programs for surgical technicians, massage therapy, medical assistants, ultrasound technicians and cardiovascular ultrasound. The center offers day and evening classes for individuals seeking to enter one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. Micro Tech gained accredition in 1995 by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology and licensed by New Jersey Department of Education and approved for "Title IV". In 1996, the school started offering financial aid to qualified students and help with job placement.

Established in 1990 to provide computer and medical training, Micro Tech Training Center focuses on the educational and professional development of each student. The school focuses on each student's basic science, clinical, leadership, management and technical skills and preparing students for the workplace. Individuals are trained in the fields of Allied Health and criminal justice. Through classroom theory and hands-on instruction, students develop their practical and marketable skills.

The school offers evening and Saturday classes to accommodate working students and strives to continue upgrading and offering more allied health programs. Since relocating to their new, modern facility in Jersey City, the school has grown to offer health programs in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technician, massage therapy, Surgical Technician and Medical Assistant. Instructors are nationally qualified in their fields and offer hands-on training and focused individual attention.
