The Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Professional photography (MARS) has been providing professional training to photographers at its annual workshops for more than 10 years. The multi-day workshops at this nationally recognized school are generally held at the Grand Hotel in historic Cape May, New Jersey. The Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Professional Photography is a non-profit organization that is entirely run by a group of volunteers. The school is nationally accredited and provides hands-on, career-focused training in photography.

All students who enroll at the Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Professional Photography stay in a full-service hotel across from a beach. The hotel serves as the school's home base, and all classes are held there. Class sizes are small to ensure individualized attention from instructors and promote relationships and networking among students. Students who need financial assistance may be able to apply for full or partial scholarships to attend the Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Professional Photography.
