Midland Lutheran College is a four-year liberal arts institution in Fremont, Nebraska, affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The college has more than 50 majors and concentrations available in arts, biology, business administration, chemistry, economics, education, english, fitness and sports management, foreign language, history, human services composite, journalism and mass communication, math/computer science, music, natural science composite, nursing, physical education, physics and astronomy, religion/philosophy, social science composite, sociology, youth and family ministry and the college is anticipating the addition of criminal justice and respiratory therapy.

Midland Lutheran College's programs have been ranked the region's finest and have garnered national recognition. The college has also received accolades for its excellence in education by organizations such as the Associated Collegiate Press, the organizers of the Certified Public Accountants Exam, and the National League of Nursing. Currently, Midland faculty is participating in the Foundation of Excellence project, an initiative by the Policy Center on the First Year of College.

  • Residential life provides students with learning communities, where first year students connect with classmates to enroll in a seminar course together, enroll in a transition from high school to college class (MLC 101), and room together in one of the six residence halls on campus.


  • Midland students can worship on campus at Rock of Christ Chapel, located in the Sinai Lutheran Church near the dining hall, three times a week. Ministry organizations include Campus Crusade for Christ, Christian Life Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Lens of Faith, Followers of Christ United in Service, and For His Sake and Religious Life Representatives.
