Midway College is the only women's college in Kentucky. The college's goal is to give its students the skills needed to assume roles of responsibility and leadership through a
liberal arts education and career studies. Midway College has more than 30 areas of study including majors, minors, concentrations and teacher certification. Degrees conferred are associate, bachelor's, and a Master of
business Administration, which is offered through Midway's Graduate College.
Midway College's School for Career Development is geared toward non-traditional adult students, who want to begin or complete their program of study during the evenings, by providing accelerated degree programs, which can be completed within 18 to 24 months. The School for Career Development offers degrees in
business administration, computer information systems management,
health care administration, homeland security corporate management and assessment, human resource management,
nursing, organizational administration and leadership, professional studies, sport management and teacher education.

Midway students can join clubs and organizations to enrich their campus life, which include Commuter Association, Gamma Beta Phi, International Club, Kentucky Education Association Student Program, Leaders in Equine Assisted Programs, Midway Association of Nursing Students, Midway Horsewoman's Association, Psychology/Sociology Club, Student Ambassadors, Student Government Association, and Tri Beta/Science Club. Students can also suggest events that they would like to experience on campus.
For students that would like to reside at Midway College, a choice of two residence halls is available. Students can enjoy comfortable campus living at the Belle Wisdom Hall and Buster Hall.
The Ruth Slack Leadership-Scholarship Program encourages women to follow the example of Ruth Slack Roach. Members of the program are dedicated to personal and community service. They are role models to other students and Ruth Slack Leadership scholars organize several community service projects and delegate event responsibilities to members of the program. The community service events held each year include: Ronald McDonald House, Shriner's Hospital, and Empty Bowl Dinner and Easter Egg Hunt.
Midway college provide distance learning through its online College and offers accelerated degree programs that can be completed in 18 to 24 months. Degree programs are available in Bachelor in Organizational Administration and Leadership and Bachelor in Homeland Security Corporate Management Assessment.
Midway College's athletic teams are affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes. Students can participate in basketball, cross country, equine, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
