Since 2004, has trained individual for careers in the beauty industry and work in salons, day spas, and medical settings. They offer programs in cosmetology, Esthetics and Nail Technology. Coursework includes technical skills, history, client care, and business skills as well as career planning and State laws and regulations.

Suzanne McWilliams and Karoline Finch partnered in the opening of M.I.A.N.C in March, 2004 and the school is the first of its kind in the state. Both instructors are licensed by the State of Mississippi and Karoline Finch is a member of the National Cosmetology Association, Cosmetology Educators of America, Mississippi Education Committee, and Mississippi cosmetology school Association.

The school's learning environment has a spa atmosphere which allows students to experience the professional work environment they will encounter upon graduation. Students perfect their people skills and technical skills through the institute's spa, which is open to the public for appointments. Students learn as they completely follow through with the client, from when the client enters the facility to the end of the treatment and making the next appointment.

M.I.A.N.C strives to ensure an education above the required entry-level graduate. They focus on instruction from experienced professionals and complete introductions to procedures and treatments that will expand a student's knowledge in their given fields coupled with clinical work.

Class lectures, programs and studies are derived from the Pivot Point Salon Fundamentals(tm) Cosmetology Text Book, Milady's Standard Fundamentals for Estheticians and Pivot Point Salon Fundamentals(tm) Esthetics Text Books.

Co-owner and instructor, Karoline Finch has been a licensed Cosmetology Instructor for 26 years and a practicing Cosmetologist and Salon owner for 28 years.

Karoline has received a Certificate of Completion with prestigious companies such as DermAware Bio-Targeted Skin Care, Microdermabrasion/medicpeel, and Obagi Skin Health Restoration & Rejuvenation System.

Suzanne McWilliams is the first and only licensed aesthetics instructor in the state of Mississippi.
