From its California location, Modern technology School offers preparation and training for careers in the field of medicine. MTS offers course programs in MABO/X-Ray, Ultrasound/Vascular, Vascular, X-Ray Only, and medical Back Office. A number of continuing educations are offered as well. Each program combines classroom instruction and supervised clinical training. MTS has an institutional is licensed to operate as a Private Postsecondary Educational Institute by the State of California and is an accredited member of the Accrediting Commission of career schools and Colleges of Technology.

Each academic year at Modern Technology School consists of 30 weeks and 36 quarter credit units and one unit of credit is awarded for every twenty hours of lecture, laboratory, or Internship training. During the latter portion of the program, the student studies a combined didactic and clinical phase, and is placed in a facility where they learn under clinical professionals. During this time, students assist clinical professionals in carefully selected facilities within a 25-60 mile radius of The Campus.

All program last between 18 and 32 months depending on each individual's concentration.

Faculty has both personal and professional experience. Modern Technology School offers financial aid through subsidized and unsubsidized Federal Family Education Loan Programs, Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG) and other Title-IV Programs.
