Since 1929, Moncton Flight College has trained pilots from around the world from its location near Moncton, Canada. In 1997 the school introduced a two-year diploma program and became the Moncton Flight College. They offer a safety-oriented education that combines state of the art curriculum with highly qualified instructors and modern facilities and equipment. MFC offers traditional pilot training programs known as Modular Training Programs that cover private, commercial, and recreational pilot licenses and permits. They also offer a diploma in Aviation technology, an Integrated Commercial Pilot course, advanced education programs, and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation.

The 20-month Diploma in Aviation Technology (PILOT) program. allows students to receive both professional flight training and an accredited diploma. MFC is one of the top producers of commercial pilots in Canada and the only school currently authorized to conduct Joint Aviation Authority training in this country. The Moncton Flight College is one of few professional flight training centers in Canada to be approved for the new Integrated Commercial Pilot Course which includes approximately 400 hours of ground school, 240 hours more than the traditional flight training. Advanced education classes include Safety Management Systems (SMS), Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Airside Vehicle Operations training for ground handling staff (AVOP).

MFC also provides European (JAA) modular flight training courses in association with the UK-based Cabair College of Air Training and approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority. The European program offers a full range of training courses, including Private Pilots License (PPL), Commercial Pilots License (CPL) and associated ratings (Single-Engine, Multi-Engine, Night, Instrument Rating, IMC Rating) and ICAO to JAA license conversions.

  • Students learn on aircraft that maintained by a staff of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers where safety is the highest priority at MFC. All aircraft are regularly inspected in accordance with strict Transport Canada and Company policies.
