For over 30 years, Montgomery beauty school has offered Cosmetology training programs in the Silver Spring, MD, and Washington, DC, Metro area. Advanced students receive clinical and practical training in a facility that features modern beauty equipment, separate theory classrooms and a modern laboratory. They are approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission, nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of cosmetology Arts & Sciences and approved by the United Stated Department of Education for Financial Aid.

The training includes hair braiding, haircuts, hair styling, skin care and customer service. Experienced instructors combine classroom instruction with real world training and real experience working with clients in a safe classroom environment. Students are taught with a career in mind so that they can perform salon services including manicuring, Hairstyling, temporary and permanent waving, temporary and permanent hair straightening, hair lightning and hair coloring, care and styling of wigs, and various facial and scalp treatments.

Students are prepared for the Maryland State Board of Cosmetologists examination and entry-level employment through the school's 1500 hour curriculum and study of both the science and art of cosmetology. They learn the skills necessary in the cosmetic treatment of the skin, hair and nails.
