Moore Norman Technology Center is part of Oklahoma's globally recognized CareerTech System serving the communities of Norman, Moore and south Oklahoma City. Since 1972, MNTC has offered affordable educational, career and training programs for
high school students, college-bound students, professionals seeking to advance their careers and adult students. They provide professional assistance to district businesses in order to serve the communities financial and business goals. The school is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
MNTC adult sessions follow a traditional school calendar starting in August, January, and June. Classes are offered full and part-time, day or evening, weekend, and
online. There are over 30 full-time careers programs offered at MNTC which can be completed in about one year. Programs are offered in the areas of Business Information Technology,
engineering and Technical, Health Careers and Human Services. While students enrolled at MNTC meet clinical requirements, perform internships, or participate in on-the-job training and job site visits.
Short-term, part-time classes are designed for adults who want to improve or develop career skills. Over 500 classes are offered during the year including business & professional development, computers, professional writing, health education, technical and industry training, and quality management systems. MNTC offers more than a hundred affordable, on-line classes starting at $79 each. MNTC's student body consists of working adults, full-time adult students,
high school students from four local high schools, private and home schools as well as business owners and senior citizens.

MNTC has earned the Oklahoma Association of Technology Center's Gold Star School Award six times which recognizes districts that have exemplary programs designed to meet their wider community's needs.
Students can earn college credit toward an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in 25 program areas at Oklahoma City Community College, Rose State College or OSU-OKC though the school's association with the Cooperative Alliance Partnerships.
During the 2006-07 school year, more than 48,000 adults participated in courses or seminars offered at MNTC.
MNTC has 50 certified teachers and instructors that have various national and state certifications in their industry areas, between them they have over 360 industry certifications.
MNTC offers career counseling, financial aid, tutoring, college credit assistance, employment services, and disabilities support.
