Mountain View College is a two-year public institution that is part of the
Dallas County Community College District. Since its inception in 1970, Mountain View College has been committed to providing a diverse community of learners with educational opportunities that build the skills and confidence necessary to embark on rewarding career paths.
At Mountain View College, academic programs are grouped into five divisions: arts, humanities, and social sciences;
business, computer science, and mathematics; career and technical education; communications and teacher education; and science,
Allied Health, and physical education. Students choose from a wide variety of majors, including anthropology, art, accounting, economics, criminal justice,
Aviation technology, welding, English, journalism, astronomy, military science, and nutrition. These programs culminate in associate degrees or certificates of completion.
