MTI College of Business and Technology is a Sacramento, California-based professional vocational trade school. Established in 1965, MTI College of Business and Technology serves recent high school graduates and others in the great Sacramento area that are beginning careers or changing job paths. MTI College of business and Technology trains students interested in business, law, healthcare, computer technology and Cosmetology.

Students interested in business at MTI College of Business and Technology can study in one of three programs: accounting technician, which prepares students for an entry level accounting posting. Areas of study in this program include computerized accounting systems; business support is a 36-week diploma program that prepares students for entry level positions in business administration; and business administration, which prepares students for business administration and business management principles. This program is offered as a one-year diploma or a two-year Associate degree program.

In the healthcare program, students may choose one of three programs: medical coding and billing, which prepares students for an entry level position as a medical coding specialist in a medical office; medical assisting, which prepares students who want to work next to doctors and nurses in medical offices on the clinical side and the phlebotomy program, which prepares students for working in a laboratory setting.

The law program offers an administrative assistant program; an on-campus paralegal program and an online paralegal program. The paralegal program at MTI College of Business and Technology is approved by the American Bar Association. Students wishing to study computer technology can choose from four programs: network security; MS system engineer, a one-year diploma or an Associate degree program; technical support. The cosmetology program is offered through the Paul Mitchell Partner Schools.

Potential students must have a high school diploma or GED; meet with an advisor and pass an entrance exam. Students who graduate from programs at MTI College of Business and Technology will be assisted with job placement through the college.
