Located in Oklahoma, Murray State College has provided residents with the education and training they need for more than a century. Established in 1908, this two-year institution of higher learning originally functioned as an agriculture school. Today, however, students with a variety of interests and goals enroll in hopes of getting the knowledge and credentials they need to begin a new chapter of their lives.

At this Oklahoma community college, students may choose to enroll in a certificate program (offered in secretarial/office administration and gunsmithing technology) or an associate degree program. From courses in business management, nursing, veterinary technology, psychology, and pre-dentistry, to classes in elementary education, criminal justice, pre-law, history, and agriculture, there's something for nearly anyone at Murray State College.

As for students who are unable to attend class on campus, this Oklahoma Community College also offers a distance learning program that will award students with either an associate degree or certificate, depending on the subject they chose.

Various programs within the school have been approved by outside institutions. For example, the American Veterinary Medical Association, Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, have expressed approval of related programs at Murray State College.

Murray State College is a member of the NJCAA. Students of the school compete in such sports as men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and cheerleading.

TMurray State College enjoys 2 + 2 articulation agreements with Southeastern Oklahoma State University and East Central University.

Students of Murray State College participate in such extracurricular groups and organizations as the MSC Theatre Department/Character's Club, Social Science, and the Student Nurses Association.
