The Napoleon Perdis Academy is a global makeup academy with locations in Hollywood, California and Australia. The Napoleon Perdis Academy offers both a certificate course and an express certificate course in the basics of makeup application. Napoleon Perdis is a makeup artist and designer who launched his own brand in 1995. Today, he has over 50 stand-alone stores across Australia, New Zealand and in the United States, as well as over 850 point of sale counters in those countries and in Canada. The certificate course at the Napoleon Perdis Academy is a three-week intensive course in the basics of makeup artistry. This course is for students interested in bridal or special occasion makeup artistry; photography and catwalk. The express certificate course is a 5-day course in Fashion Glamour and Bridal Makeup Artistry. The makeup kit, tools of the trade and Napoleon Perdis cosmetics are included in the course fees. There may be further essentials required.

The Paparazzi Ready class is a one-day intensive course designed to give students an enhancement of their own make up applications and develop their confidence in make up selection. This course helps students apply makeup to their eyes, cheeks and lips; as well as giving basics in foundation coverage for day, evening and office wear. Classes in this course include: prepping skin for makeup; skin and basic skin care; choosing foundation for your skin type; choosing a foundation color right for you; enhancing your features by tailoring to your needs; face and complexion; how to apply foundation and the best tools; making eye shadow work for you; choosing the right lipstick for the season or occasion; eye techniques day and evening.

Prospective students to the Napoleon Perdis Academy must be at least 16 years of age and if earning a diploma in the three-week course, must have at least a high school diploma or GED. Students in the personal care paparazzi course can be any age and there are no other requirements for enrollment.
