The National Golf School at Hyland Hills is the jewel of the Pinehurst Area. This fine 18-hole golf course designed by architect Tom Jackson is located on one of the highest elevations in the region.

Southern Pines, North Carolina - a golfing mecca since 1920 - boasts tall longleaf and loblolly pines, sparkling blue water, and spacious vistas. Most buildings stand no taller than two stories high.

While Southern Pines is acclaimed for its golfing opportunities, it also offers quaint and historic sites, fine antique and collectible shopping, and the NASCAR Winston Cup at North Carolina Motor Speedway.

All National Golf Schools provide five hours of instruction daily, including a three-hour morning instructional session covering full swing, short game, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and putting. A minimum two-hour afternoon instruction is offered on the course.

Playing lessons with highly-skilled PGA Professionals are provided daily for every level of student from beginner to accomplished player. The instructors are some of the finest PGA and LPGA teaching professionals in the field and teach students to apply solid fundamentals in accordance with their unique, individual capabilities. National Golf Schools never uses "one method for all" instruction.
