The National Technological University is now the NTU School of engineering and Applied Science at Walden University. The National Technological University was founded through sponsorships from IBM, Motorola, Hewlett-Packard, and Lockheed Martin. The university has helped professionals stay on the cutting edge of technology for more than 20 years.

The university offers master's degree programs in software engineering and systems engineering as well as certificates in engineering and technology management. Graduate certificates can be completed in one year and the credits can be used toward the master's degree program for students who choose to continue their education. The certificates consist of four courses, students must receive a B or better in each course, and students must meet the admission requirements of the most closely-related degree program.
