National Training, Inc. was established in 1978 to provide post-secondary vocational education for applicants interested in pursuing entry-level positions on the way to long, profitable careers as heavy equipment operators or truck drivers. NTI is committed to providing students a solid educational foundation and personal attention from faculty, with an open door component to its admission policy welcoming high school grads, vocational rehabilitation students, military personnel and non-traditional students.

National Training, Inc. is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council, based in Washington, D.C., which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. NTI is licensed in Florida by the Commission for Independent Education and by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. National Training, Inc. trains eligible applicants under the Workforce Investment Act and eligible Vocational Rehabilitation Participants.

NTI's commercial drivers license preparation program entails 33 study at home lessons that must be completed prior to entry into the resident program. The residence portion of the program takes place on a 350-acre training facility in Green Cove Springs, Florida, which features 7,000 square feet of classroom space and a one and a quarter mile skills track.

NTI's National Heavy Equipment Operators School differentiates itself from community colleges and other technical schools with its exclusive mission to train students to confidently operate a variety of heavy equipment machines and to place them in good jobs. The training fleet features many different brands of equipment and different power trains.
