National Truck Driving School helps students develop the knowledge-base and defensive driving skills that they will need to successfully pass the commercial drivers license exam and pursue entry-level jobs in the trucking industry. Courses are also available for
Advanced truck drivers. Students gain a firm respect for safety and a deep understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Rules and industry regulations.
NTDS encourages prospective students to consider entering the truck driving industry. Because truckers play such an important part in keeping the national economy running, there are many job openings. And unlike other industries,
IT is not as important that students have a strong formal educational background.
IT does not take years of school to enter the truck driving industry.
While training with NTDS, students spend about 115 hours receiving behind-the-wheel training, along with 45 hours of classroom time. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the the commercial drivers license exam, which is necessary to pursue employment in the industry. NTDS students can choose to study full-time or
part-time, whichever fits their schedule.

Loans and financial assistance are available to National Truck Driving School students.
Once graduates pass the drivers test for the commercial drivers license, National Truck Driving School assists them with job placement, using its connections with companies such as England, Swift Trucking, Central Refrigerated Service and Gordon Trucking Co. to help students gain employment.
National Truck Driving School is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and vocational Education and accredited by the Department of Consumer Affairs. It also accepts workers compensation training vouchers.
