American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board, the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education has provided quality natural health training for more than a decade. Offering three courses of study--
Therapeutic Massage, naturopathy and homeopathy--NITE has graduated more than 30 classes of naturopathic specialists and recently expanded to a 70-acre campus in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education offers therapeautic
bodywork practitioner classes, natural health program classes, a holistic labor companion program and non-diploma courses. Within the natural health program curriculum, there are 600-hour classes for educators, therapists and practitioners and an 800-hour certified naturopath course. After finishing the four-year program, graduates earn a certificate. The coursework includes anatomy, reflexology, physiology, biology,
midwifery, feng shui, history of naturopathy and medicine, homeopathy, bodywork, and sound and color therapy.
By completing the one-year, 600-hour bodywork practitioners program, graduates are qualified to practice
massage therapy in Michigan. The course includes 500 hours of instruction and 100 hours of independent study. There are fifteen classes, covering everything from anatomy, muscle energy, flower remedies and nutrition to meridian work, reflexology, craniosacral body work and essential oils.

The class on vaccines and environmental poisons examines the the facts about immunizations and pollutants. Students study remedies--homeopathics, herbs and essential oils--that help remove contaminants such as mercury from the nerves and ways to bolster the immune system while protecting the body from immunizations.
NITE operates Herbs, Etc., where its Natural Health Consultants offer their services and therapies to the public. This includes nutrition counseling, live blood cell analysis, iridology, homeopathy, massage therapies, reflexology, infra-red sauna and essential oil sessions. The store also sells herbs, supplements, books, oils, homeopathics, natural health and massage supplies, and healthy snacks.
Instructors are well-known nationally and internationally within their fields and hold various certifications. Director of Education and NITE co-founder Dr. Bessheen Baker holds a B.S. From Eastern Michigan Uniersity and a Doctor of Naturopathy.
The sound and color therapy course, which natural health program students take in their fourth year, shows students how vibrations in sound and light can be used to therapeutic ends, bringing a sense of Peace and balance to clients.
