All students entering Navarro Community College will have a wide array of student services at their feet. The school provides free academic advising, financial aid counseling, support services for disabled students, and personal counseling. The Carl Perkins Career Center provides job search support for students and Navarro's First Generation Program provides specialized housing, academic advising, tutoring, mentoring, monthly stipends, and a six-week summer college preparation program for qualified first generation college students.
Students looking to transfer will find that Navarro Community College is a great place to start their education. The school currently maintains articulation agreements with Sam Houston University, Texas A&M Commerce, and
The University of Texas at Dallas just to name a few. Through these agreements, students may complete the first two years of their education at Navarro then seamlessly transition to a four-year institution without paying a higher tuition price. Navarro Community College also provides a fast track online software development program of study in conjunction with Northrop Grumman. Students selected into the program will take online courses through Navarro then have the opportunity to interview with Northrop Grumman for potential employment.
