Acting, make-up and
SPA industries. The New Image College of Fine Arts campus features several teaching studios, a wardrobe and props area, scene library, make-up rooms, esthetic teaching studios, a salon, cafeteria and student lounge areas.
The make-up artistry program prepares students to start their own businesses and to work in the fashion, bridal, spa and entertainment industries. Alumni work throughout North America, Japan, Mexico, Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Many students in the make-up artist program get hands-on experience working on location for feature films, commercial sets and photo shoots, building strong video and photo portfolios. They interact with actors, directors and photographers and discover what it means to be a professional in the industry.
The 910-hour esthetics program at the New Image College of Fine Arts teaches students preventative skin care along with invigorating treatments, preparing them for the certification exam and employment in high-end spas. Students attend class for 21 hours a week, taking classes covering manicures, pedicures, electro therapy, hair removal, facials and
medical esthetics.
