An accredited Massage School, serves the community within a 50-mile radius, offering clients a chance to ease aches and pains and students of all levels an opportunity to advance in their technique and understanding massage at massage training facility. New Life Institute of massage therapy is located in California's central valley near Shasta Lake.

The curriculum at New Life Institute of massage therapy includes courses on anatomy, physiology, massage and bodywork theory and various massage applications. The 180-hour basic massage therapy course covers pathology, medical terminology, kinesiology, business ethics, massage history, reflexology and a variety of massage techniques. Students also learn how to integrate different modalities into treatments.

The advanced Therapeutic Massage course is for students with at least 100 hours of massage therapy practice. The 120-hour certificate program covers advanced Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, essential oils therapy, magnet therapy, acupressure and healing stone massage.

Class time is split between lectures, seminars, experiments and demos, videos, guest speakers, computer programs and hands-on practice. Students work under close supervision as they practice massage techniques on partners. By the end of the program students are able to complete a full body massage sequence and tailor treatments and modalities to client needs.
