As a leading visual and performing arts College in Florida, the New World School of the Arts provides an accelerated academic education along with advanced arts training to every student. The college is unique in that it trains students at both the high school and college level. Many students attend the New World School of the Arts from ninth grade through the completion of their college degree program, while others attend solely the high school or college.

For either type of student, the New World School of the Arts is a strong, academic community of talent and creativity. Students are strongly encouraged to develop their artistic talents through individualized study and advanced training in their chosen field. Students are exposed to the absolute best in the industry, from world-renowned faculty to state of the art facilities, and are given the needed tools to properly hone their talents.

Through four basic programs including dance, music, theater, and visual arts, the New World School of the Arts confers Bachelor of fine arts and Bachelor of Music degrees. The dance program is comprised of dance history, kinesiology, movement analysis, and dance production courses, designed to give students a full range of knowledge and experience. Guest dancers and choreographers from around the world often teach advanced classes. Dance students also have the unique opportunity to participate in the World Dance Ensemble, a national touring company.

In the music, theatre, and visual arts programs, students are nourished with competitive and challenging vocal, musical, performance, and visual arts training as well as an advanced understanding of the history of their art. Student performances and art exhibitions enhance the experience and allow students to showcase their talents to further develop their skill.
