Founded in 1986, the New York Conservatory of the Arts has served as a prominent performing arts School in New York for professional and pre-professional arts students for over two decades. The unique part of this art institute is its wide range of programs and courses, which include acting, dance, performance, and theater training for a broad range of students. The New York Conservatory of the Arts recently began offering a unique non-degree musical training program for high school students. The Musical Theater Intensive is a two-year hands-on training program designed to provide students with extensive acting, voice, dance, and production training to fully prepare them for careers onstage. Through the program, students perform two to three major productions a year, affording students ample opportunity to truly hone their skills and develop their craft. The goal of the program is to fully prepare students for professional auditions by the second year.
