North Carolina Wesleyan College is a four-year, co-educational,
liberal arts college in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The college was founded in 1956 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church. North Wesleyan College provides an academic curriculum rich in the liberal arts tradition with a variety of study areas to satisfy every students interests.

North Carolina Wesleyan College's athletic teams are affiliated with USA South Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III. The college sports teams include men's baseball, golf, soccer and tennis. Women's sports teams include basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
The college's Arch Sharer Arboretum is named after Arch Sharer, who was a member of the college's faculty for 34 years and initiated the planting of variegated trees on the campus. The arboretum consists of plants, trees, and shrubs cultivated for educational and scientific purposes.
