Through courses in anatomy, kinesiology, pathology, health and hygiene, physiology, and hydrotherapy, students acquire a broad understanding of the fundamentals of the human body and the healing process. This, in turn, provides the necessary knowledge to apply theoretical skills and concepts on the massage table.

At North Texas school of Swedish Massage, it's all about creating a schedule that works for you. Classes are offered in the evenings, accommodating working professionals. Students may also create their own curriculum by mixing and matching classes each term period to fit their personal schedules. Students can choose to take the accelerated route, which consists of study five days a week for an average of five months, or the standard route, which consists of two-day-a-week classes that is completed in an average of 10 months. Both courses involve an internship component, which provides valuable hands-on experience to compliment classroom theoretical knowledge. Students have the option of extending their internships to gain more experience and exposure.

In addition to a traditional massage training program, the North Texas School of Swedish Massage offers advanced courses through its continuing education program. The courses are designed for professional massage therapists and are offered in a variety of subject areas including chair massage, soft tissue massage, hot stone massage, and Bach Flower Essentials, a unique massage technique. The center also offers a first aid training course.
