Northcentral Technical College is a professional technical school located in Wausau, Wisconsin. Northcentral Technical College offers students an opportunity to earn certificates, diplomas or associate degrees. Founded in 1912 in a two-story building and known as the Wausau Industrial School, Northcentral Technical College has grown to seven campuses. In addition to the main campus in Wausau, Northcentral Technical College has campuses in Antigo, Medford, Merrill, Phillips, Spencer and Wittenberg. Northcentral Technical College is one of 16 districts in the Wisconsin Technical College System and serves all, or portions of 10 counties, including: Marathon, Lincoln, Taylor, Price, Langlade, Menominee, Clark, Portage, Shawano and Waupaca.

Prospective students wishing to enroll at Northcentral Technical College must have a high school diploma or GED; must complete a Compass exam, or have SAT or ACT exam scores. Students who have attended other colleges or universities must also provide a transcript from those schools. Students who are completing their high school education may enroll concurrently at the school. Students who need to complete their high school education may enroll in GED preparation classes at Northcentral Technical College. There is no on-campus housing available at Northcentral Technical College, but the school might be able to provide ideas for affordable housing in Wausau. As well, students at Northcentral Technical College are also eligible for student housing at the University of Wisconsin/Marathon County.
