Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College is one of the nation's premier two-year colleges and has a long tradition of serving the educational needs of students with over 50 educational programs from which to choose. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College had its beginning in 1919. After holding classes for a year in the Mining and Exchange Building in Miami, the Oklahoma school moved to its new location on forty acres of land given by interested citizens of Miami.

Today, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College attempts to keep up with the technology of society, which is ever-changing. One of their goals is to be able to complete jobs that they know will be fully computerized in the future. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College does this by offering courses on the Internet to serve students in a flexible manner. This way, students may be able to take classes at any time or day that is convenient for them. This helps those students who may have jobs or other responsibilities.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College continues to expand the associate degree and transfer curriculum, enabling students to complete their first two years of higher education in a top quality educational program where the tuition and fees are still affordable.
