Kentucky School offers more than 60 bachelor, 12 associate, and 12 graduate degree programs for students.
The student to faculty ratio is about 18 to 1, so students have a chance to get to know their professors--all classes at Northern Kentucky University are taught by full- or part-time faculty. The average class size is about 24 students and the largest class is around 120 students. The University offers a variety of classes, from marketing to medieval studies. The Salmon P. Chase College of Law gives students a chance to earn a combined law degree and an MBA.
Northern Kentucky University's main campus is on more than 330 acres of serene countryside. Most students who attend Northern Kentucky University hail from Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. With its geographical location, the University maintains alliances with the
University of Cincinnati and
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Northern Kentucky University is also an active member of the Greater Cincinnati Consortium of Colleges and Universities.
Northern Kentucky University has more than 200 campus clubs and organizations. The Northerner is Northern Kentucky's independent student newspaper. Getting involved on campus gives students a chance to network and meet new friends with similar interests. Some of these clubs include the Snowboarding/Ski Club, Paintball Club, and Zen Meditation Group. There are five sororities and fraternities for students to join at Northern Kentucky University.
