As part of Northern Virginia Community College, the Medical Education Campus is devoted to providing the community college students with the health care education they need to begin the career of their choice. Because the Medical Education Campus is a joint effort on the part of area universities, colleges, and secondary schools, a variety of different courses and program levels are offered. From certificate to degree programs, this health care college has the courses that students need to succeed.

In fact, thanks to the Medical Education Campus's partnerships with George Mason University, Old Dominion University, and Virginia Commonwealth University, medical students may enroll in these four-year universities' undergraduate and graduate programs that are taught at Medical Education Campus.

At this health care college, students may choose from nursing programs and allied health programs -- including dental hygiene, radiography, emergency medical technology, respiratory therapy, and physical therapist assistant concentrations. An online nursing program, in which theories are taught via the Internet and students gain skills onsite, is also available at the Northern Virginia Community College: Medical Education Campus.
