As a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, Northwest Technical College is a comprehensive community college that's devoted to the education and enrichment of its students and surrounding community. Along with its campus in Bemidji, this two-year institution of higher learning has a satellite site that's located on the Red Lake Reservation in Redby.

Students who are unable to attend class at either location also have the option of enrolling in this Minnesota college's distance education program. Thanks to this program students may take classes in such subjects as accounting, art history, anatomy, and anthropology -- all from the comforts of their own home.

At Northwest Technical College students are able to earn anything from a diploma or certificate to an associate degree. From courses in accounting, medical coding, dental assisting, nursing, and medical office technology, to classes in carpentry, forest technology, massage therapy, sales marketing and management, and industrial model making, students can match their educational options with their future career plans.
