Every summer, visiting university students from across the country, working professionals, and high school students have the opportunity to experience our professionally oriented curriculum. They train with our renowned faculty of artists and scholars in New York City, or in one of our nine international locations.

Quick Facts:
Tisch also offers summer film certificates, study abroad programs, special spring programs, and open arts programs. Tisch study abroad Programs provide specialized, advanced-level training in a variety of arts disciplines with an international scope that compares to our standards of excellence at home. Students enrolled in courses offered by Special Programs find themselves On-Location (in France, England, Czech Republic, Italy, Ireland, Cuba, South Africa, and China). Professional certification in film is awarded to students who successfully complete the three required courses within one year or two successive summers. The New York University faculty have written, directed, and produced hundreds of feature films and worked at major television networks, including public broadcasting and cable television stations. Spring at Tisch brings a diverse body of undergraduate students from other colleges or universities to Tisch School of the Arts to participate in one semester of intensive study in either Film Production, Cinema Studies, or Acting.
