Founded by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Oblate School of theology is a Catholic graduate and Professional School that focuses on ministry and the church's mission. This Texas School prides itself on preparing students for pastoral ministry through academic coursework.

Students can enter professional degree programs such as the Master of Divinity and the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. A statute of Saint Eugene stands in front of the main building on the Oblate School of Theology. As the patron saint of the school, he emphasized the importance of the formation of clergy and ministers in the Church.

The school is non-residential, but does foster a sense of community. There is a celebration of the Eucharist every Tuesday. There's also the Worship Committee that prepares the liturgies for special occasions. The school also has prayer time to foster a sense of community between students and faculty. There are also several social events, along with holiday luncheons and graduation activities.

The year-long International Priest Internship is geared toward helping international students understand the culture and history of parish communities in the U.S. Students can be involved in the International Priest Internship program.
