Odessa College is a two-year college and professional technical school located in Odessa, Texas. Founded in 1946, Odessa College has grown to serve over 30,000 square miles of West Texas. The campus is located on 80 acres with 28 buildings and more than 150 classrooms, labs and learning centers.
Odessa College enrolls over 5,000 students per year in its college-parallel and vocational training courses, as well as an additional 11,000 students in adult education; continuing education and recreational courses. Students at Odessa College can choose from a number of programs including: biology; agriculture; air conditioning; anthropology and geology; art; automotive technology;
business administration; chemistry; computer information systems; computer science;
Cosmetology; criminal justice;
Culinary Arts; diesel technology; drafting technology; economics; electrical; electronics;
engineering; English; English as a second language; fire technology; foreign languages; geography; government; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; law enforcement/criminal justice;

photography; and social sciences. Odessa College also offers a wide variety of courses for distance learners through the Internet.
Prospective students wishing to enroll at Odessa College must have a high school diploma or GED; must complete a THEA test, or have SAT or ACT exam scores. Students who have attended other colleges or universities must also provide a transcript from those schools. Students who are completing their high school education may enroll concurrently at the school, but must have at least began their senior year to enroll in a degree program. Students who need to complete their high school education may enroll in GED preparation classes at Odessa College. There is on campus living options for students attending Odessa College. The apartment style living quarters will house 200 students. Each apartment is fully furnished, and residents share a common living area and kitchen. There are either a four-bedroom/two bath or two-bedroom/one-bath arrangement, based on availability.
