Ohashi Institute is an internationally renowned educational institute that emphasizes finding serenity. The main school is located in New York City, New York, but the institute has affiliate schools all over the world. Founded in 1974, the New York school combines Western and Eastern beliefs about healing. Around 2,000 students study at Ohashi Institute each year.

Students attend Ohashi Institute for a number of reasons. Some take classes to learn about self-healthcare and others are interested in Eastern culture. In addition, many attend because they want to find a new career or add more knowledge to their repertoire. The programs offered at the New York School are based on experiential learning. Students apply the knowledge and concepts they learn and then apply them to their own lives and the lives of others. The learning environment is very relaxed.

Ohashi Institute offers a program in Ohashiatsu, a unique healing therapy that combines touch, exercise and meditation as a means toward self-improvement. The program teaches using hands-on exercises, meditations and lectures. Many curriculum programs are 30 hours each. Students learn at their own pace, and they have the option to take classes independently or as a member of the program. All of the classes at the New York School are taught by certified Ohashiatsu teachers.
