The Southern Campus of Ohio University offers the first two years of more than 275 undergraduate major's on the main OU campus. Additionally, the Southern Campus offers associates and bachelors degree completion programs, as well as the MBA.

Students of the Southern Campus can easily transfer credits to the main Ohio University campus with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. The OU Athens campus offers an orientation program for transfer students. Ohio University Southern credits transfer to other institutions as well.

Ohio University Southern and Collins Career Center offers a collaborative educational opportunity for LPNs in southeastern Ohio. The LPN-to-RN program enables the working LPN to complete an Associate of Science degree in nursing. Upon completion of the associate degree, the graduate can take the national licensure exam or enter the Bachelor of Science in nursing program - offered online - for two additional years of advanced nursing education.

In addition to the Southern and Athens campuses, Ohio University has campuses in St. Clairsville (Eastern Campus), Chillicothe, Lancaster, and Zanesville, as well as learning centers in Pickerington and Proctorville.
