Students of this Washington Community College participate in such extracurricular clubs and organizations as the Olympic College Educational Association of Nursing Students, Phi Theta Kappa, Habitat for Humanity, Environmental Action Club, and Children of the Arts Club.

As a member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges, Olympic College enables students to compete in nine different intercollegiate sports, including men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's baseball, and more.

Over 12,000 students receive an education from this Washington community college each year.

As of 2006, more than 100 full-time and nearly 400 adjunct faculty members were employed by Olympic College. Approximately 25 percent of faculty members has attained a doctorate degree.
