The Oregon college of oriental medicine, established in 1983 is a comprehensive non-profit institution offering a variety of programs in the Oriental medicine fields. Programs offered include a Master's degree program as well as a Doctoral degree program. The colleges Master's degree program is offered in Oriental medicine, and the Doctoral program is offered in acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Through the Master's in Oriental medicine program, OCOM students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in areas such as Oriental Therapeutic Massage, Chinese herbal medicine, biomedicine and much more. Oregon college of Oriental Medicine students will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on practical experience at the Acupuncture and Herbal Clinic.
