Owensboro community college provides associate degree and professional certificate options in a student-centered environment. With courses available at three campuses spread throughout the state, Owensboro Community College services students from across Ohio as well as from Southern Indiana and Kentucky. Students may take courses on campus during the day, evening, weekends, online, through telecourses, or on site thanks to the school's customized training seminars. All classes here are small and are taught by qualified educators, not graduate assistants. Owensboro Community College currently offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs as well as 22 diploma and certificate programs. Students looking to transfer to a four-year institution are in luck. Owensboro Community College maintains articulation agreements with all public colleges and universities in Kentucky.

The school prides itself on being an affordable alternative for students. In-state students pay approximately $100 per credit hour, less than one-third the price of a typical four-year institution. As a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Owensboro Community College students will also have access to degree programs and facilities offered on 65 campuses spread throughout Kentucky.
