The Palmetto School of Ultrasound offers a program in the field of diagnostic medical sonography, leading to a certification. The program offered at the Palmetto School is 13-14 months in length.

Through the program, Palmetto students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the areas of gross anatomy, diagnostic exams, ultrasound physics and much more. Palmetto school students will also have the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience through the programs clinical externship component.

Through the clinical training at the Palmetto school, students will also have the opportunity to gain experience using contemporary ultrasound technology.

The Palmetto School of Ultrasound is located in the scenic state of S.C. In addition to the many courses offered through the diagnostic medical sonography program, students can also take advantage of the many activities and attractions in S.C. such as numerous recreational, cultural and historical attractions. The state is home to, numerous, beaches, museums, festivals, diverse restaurants, theatres and much more. Some S.C. attractions include the Museum of art, Finlay Park, Lake Murray, Hilton Head Island and much more.
