Providing traditional and online programs of study to students, Passaic County community college strives to fit all of your educational needs. This medium-sized campus provides associate degree and technical certificate programs to approximately 7,000 students from across New Jersey each year. Passaic County offers more than 40 degree programs covering a wide breadth of liberal arts and business-related fields. Those looking to transfer to a four-year institution after completing a degree at Passaic are in luck. Passaic County Community College currently maintains transfer and articulation agreements with 25 local institutions, giving students the ability to seamlessly transition to a bachelor's degree program without losing credits. Classes are offered in the day, evening, or during the weekends. Students with exceptional academic records will be eligible to join the Passaic Honors Program. In addition to academic programs, the school operates substantial continuing education and business support programs.

Passaic County Community College is also home to four varsity sports teams (in men and women's basketball, men's soccer, and women's volleyball) as well as recreational soccer and volleyball teams and a campus-wide intramurals league. Students will also find a wide array of student-led clubs, organizations, and publications as well. Passaic County Community College hosts 25 student clubs ranging from the Radiography Club to the campus chapter of Phi Theta Kappa international honors society for two-year college students. The campus operates a student-run newspaper, student government association, and student ambassadors program too.

Passaic County Community College makes a concerted effort to help all students reach their educational and career goals. The on campus Center for Student Success provides free academic advising, career counseling, transfer services, and personal counseling. Additional support services are available for international students, students with physical disabilities, first-generation college students, and low-income enrollees. Students who need to brush up on basic skills can do so on campus prior to enrolling at Passaic County. Passaic County Community College provides GED preparation and remedial courses designed for students in need of an extra academic boost.
