Peace college, founded in 1857, offers a wide variety of four-year undergraduate degrees in numerous programs of study. Peace has an extensive history of providing education to women and was founded by Raleigh's First Presbyterian Church. Majors at Peace include Graphic Design, music performance, leadership studies, child development and much more.

Peace College is located on a scenic campus, in Raleigh, North Carolina, which features both historical and state-of-the-art facilities. The main building at Peace is an historical building that includes student rooms, a chapel and theater complex. Also on campus is the music building, which offers a state-of-the-art facility for students studying piano, organ and voice and more. Additionally, Peace students can take advantage of the Lucy Cooper Finch Library, which houses more than 56,000 volumes and other titles as well as numerous electronic databases.

The intercollegiate athletic program at Peace College offers sports such as cross-country, tennis, basketball, and more.

The city of Raleigh also offers numerous off-campus recreational, cultural and historical attractions for students. The city is nationally recognized and has been voted, "One of the Best Places to Live" by Money Magazine and among the most educated cities by the Census Bureau.
