Penn State University Altoona is located in Altoona, Pennsylvania and offers undergraduate Bachelors degrees as well as Associate Degrees in a variety of programs. Adler Athletic Complex, cafes and more. There are more than 70 clubs and student organizations for student to take advantage of on campus. Some attractions include the DelGrosso's Amusement Park, Indian Caverns, Altoona's Railroader's Memorial Museum and more. With the town of Punxsutawney a little more than an hour away, students can also experience the nationally known holiday Groundhog's Day. The groundhogs' day festival attracts more than 25,000 people from all over the world to the "Weather Capital of the World."

Penn State Altoona offers numerous study abroad programs and students have access to over 183 programs in colleges and universities in more than 61 countries. Penn State also offers numerous study abroad scholarship opportunities for students including the Penn State Altoona International Travel Award and more. Altoona Study Abroad Programs include creative writing in Ghana, women's studies in Tanzania, the Puerto Rico Exchange Program and others.
