Penn State University Berks is one of several colleges of the prominent Penn State University. Penn State Berks offers a variety of Baccalaureate and Associate degrees and programs. Penn State Berks became a part of Penn State University in 1958 and is located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Among them are the Boscov-Lakin Information Commons at Thun Library, which offers more than 49,000 volumes, a children's book collection and numerous additional resources.

Other Berks campus facilities include The Freyberger Gallery and the Perkins Student Center.

Students can also take advantage of a wide array of NCAA Division III varsity sports at Penn State Berks including soccer, basketball and tennis. There are also more than 30 clubs and organizations for students to get involved in such as the photography Club, the Yoga and Meditation Society, the Chess club and many more.

There are roughly 800 residential students on campus at Penn State Berks and many commuter students.
