The Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming offers a variety of pet grooming programs preparing students for careers as professional pet groomers. Academy programs include the bather/brusher pet grooming program, the basic professional pet grooming program and the accelerated professional pet grooming program.

Each program offered at the Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming is comprised of an individual curriculum. Through the 600-hour accelerated professional pet grooming program, students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in areas such as advanced grooming skills, salon and marketing management and more. Through the basic professional pet grooming program, Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about basic grooming skills as well as hands-on training. The environment at the Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming is designed to resemble an actual grooming salon. Programs are also designed to prepare the student to be qualified to enter into the grooming industry as a professional pet groomer.

The Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming is located in the city of Indiana in Pennsylvania. The academy's facility is comprised of classrooms, a library, a grooming area, a bathing/drying area and more. Students can take advantage of the many resources, professional equipment and more that the academy has to offer. At the Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming library, students can access a variety of pet related resources including books and videos.

In addition to the programs offered at the academy, students can also take advantage of the many activities and attractions in the Indiana area. Indiana, located in Western Pennsylvania, offers a variety of restaurants, historical attractions, scenic landscapes and more. Additionally, Indiana is located within close proximity to the city of Pittsburgh, which offers numerous cultural, historical and recreational attractions alike. Pittsburgh is home to the Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History, the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, theatres and much more.

The bather/brusher pet grooming program is a two-week program, the basic professional pet grooming program is a seven and a half week program and the accelerated professional pet grooming program is a 15-week program.
