Pfeiffer University established in 1885, offers a diverse array of undergraduate, graduate and adult studies programs. There are numerous campus locations located throughout North Carolina including the Misenheimer Campus, the Charlotte Campus, The Triangle Campus and more. Some of the undergraduate programs of study include engineering studies, physical education, communication studies, international business and more. Graduate programs of study include Masters of Health Administration, Masters of Arts in Teaching, Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and others.

On the many Pfeiffer University campuses students can find numerous state-of-the-art facilities. Among them are the Gustavus Adolphus Pfeiffer Library, which is the main branch of the Pfeiffer library system. The library offers more than 117,000 volumes and numerous print and electronic resources. Also accessible to students is the Phieffer Athletics Complex which features a 2,200 seat gymnasium, six Lane pool, six tennis courts and much more.

In addition to the diverse academic program, students at Pfeiffer can take advantage of a variety of on campus recreational activities. The Athletics program offers varsity Division II sports for both men and women. Among them are baseball, basketball, cross county, golf and many others.

Not only can students take advantage of the many on campus activities at Pfeiffer University , but can take advantage of off campus activities as well. North Carolina offers a diverse range of recreational, historical and cultural attractions alike. The state boasts a scenic coastal area as well as a mountainous region. The city of Charlotte offers quaint shops, ethnic restaurants and historic sites. The Outerbanks are also within close proximity to the city. The town of Misenheimer offers a village style atmosphere featuring festivals, museums, bike trails and a quaint farmers market.
